Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at Hillgrove Guesthouse, I found a tranquil environment that was pivotal for my much-needed relaxation. Nestled a short walk from Dingle's vibrant Main Street, the location strikes a fine balance between accessibility and serenity. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Kevin, whose helpful insights about the area were appreciated. My room was clean and equipped with a Smart TV-an added convenience for unwinding after a day of exploration. The tea and coffee-making facilities also meant I could indulge in a soothing cup while enjoying the peaceful views from the terrace. Breakfast was notably enjoyable, featuring a well-prepared omelette that, while taking a bit longer, was worth the wait. The shared lounge offered a comfortable space to linger, while the garden invited moments of reflection. As an ardent travel writer focused on Europe's microbreweries, Hillgrove proved a fitting base; It effortlessly combined a serene atmosphere with proximity to the town's culinary delights.
